OUR MISSION

Welcome to Green Hill Veterinary Care. Green Hill Veterinary Care’s mission is to provide a place where you and your pets, of any type, feel like part of our family. We are centered around personal care to fit your needs whether it is a minor concern, wellness check or an emergency. We know how busy your schedule is so we strive to make your veterinary care as easy and caring as possible. We use flexible scheduling to make sure you have the time you deserve and need. We also offer house calls for routine or emergency care. Our main goal is to provide your loved ones a comfortable environment and to promote a relaxed setting for all appointments.

We offer care for all animals except large farm animals and non human primates. We are comfortable with scaled, feathered or furry family members. Our goal is to be able to care for your family no matter the diversity. We can also help your next family member have the best outcome by offering habitat advice before you purchase your next pet. The best way to have a healthy life is to prepare. Many times, with exotic pets, husbandry is the most important first step. You want to have your habitat ready before you bring home your newest family member. There are also many resources out there that we can help you weed through to give you a starting point. Preventative medicine starts here.

Green Hill Veterinary Care was founded on the premise that your family comes first. You will see that all of our staff is friendly and inviting, not because they have to, but because they care. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable no matter the setting or situation.

Dr. Craig Hill

Veterinarian

Dr. Hill grew up in New Stanton, PA.  He originally gained his love for animals from his many family members, especially his grandfather.  He was always surrounded by many types of animals: hamsters, parakeets, fish, turtles, dogs, cats, a turkey, a pony, cows, pigs and anything else that called their land home.  He graduated from Hempfield High School.  After high school, he moved west to Colorado to attend Colorado State University.  He got his undergraduate degree in microbiology, which is why you find him looking in microscopes any chance he has.  He then attended Colorado State University to get his veterinary degree. During this time, he studied small animal and exotic medicine.  He realized that not many veterinarians had an interest in exotic species but since he was surrounded by them growing up, it only made sense to spend extra time studying the things he loved.  Since graduation from CSU, he has worked in many different settings which allows him to bring those experiences to Green Hill Veterinary Care.  He has lived in Baltimore (boo!), Asheville and then back to Western PA.

Jen Brummett

Veterinary Technician

Jen has always been an animal lover since she was a little girl. It only made sense she would eventually graduate from the Vet Tech Institute and pursue a career with animals. She is currently working on getting her certification. She and her husband have a Cane Corso breeding and whelping program that strives to provide proper temperament, conformation, and health. If that isn't enough juggling, she also has three amazing kids, three dogs and a cat. You will usually find this family cheering their kids on the soccer field most days as well.
